It has been a trend since long time that many celebrities have always showed immense love to pet animals such as dogs, horses and cats. One such celebrity is Trisha and she is well known for enthusiastic support for the vegetarian supportive PETA organization. She is also a dog lover and has been in news already for her love towards her pet dog. The news, however, is that Trisha has voiced out against a cruel experiment that is supposed to take place using 70 dogs as the test cases!
It seems as if 70 dogs of Beagle breed have been imported with the tag of ‘pet’ from the country of China by a pharmaceutical laboratory in Bangalooru named Advinus Therapeutics. However, it seems that the laboratory is going to use those 70 Beagle variety of dogs as test cases for a pharmaceutical experiment. However, it seems the laboratory has allegedly imported those dogs from China as pets, just with the intention to get the No Objection Certificate clearance from the concerned authorities. It is because of this illegal practice, now Trisha has expressed her concern over those 70 dogs.
Trisha, a vivid animal lover, has also gone to the extent of bring this issue to the knowledge of the concerned heads of the government bodies to save the dogs from the cruel practice. The 29 year old actress has written a letter to the secretary of Ministry of Environment and Forest, Mr. M R Farooqui, demanding just action against those who are all involved in this cruel laboratory test.
In addition to Trisha, several other cinema celebrities including Bollywood actors like Celina Jaitley, Kunnal Khemmu, Neha Dhupia and Sonu Sood. Many of them have voiced out their support through their online portals and social networking sites like Twitter.
