Sizzling Siren Namitha is presently acting in ‘Azhagana Ponnuthaan’ in a prostitute role with 18 year old teenager Karthees. As per the scene, Karthees chooses Namitha among other prostitutes and they have an intimate bed room scene thereafter. Namitha initially refused to act in the bedroom scene as she was not feeling comfortable to act in such intimate scene with a teenager even though she already acted intimately with Vijay, Ajith, Sarathkumar and Sathyaraj. But director Thiru convinced Namitha saying that they proceed with shooting of first shot and after finishing the first shot, Namitha can see the shot in monitor. If she feels OK, then they proceed shooting the entire scene. After seeing the first shot in monitor, Namitha refused to act further.

After the flop of Indira Vizha and Jagan Mohini, Namitha understood that directors are trying to exploit her oomph factor alone in films and they are not trying to establish her as a good actress.
