TAMIL TELUGU ACTRESS MADHUMITHA
Hyderabad based Tamil and Telugu Actress Madhumitha debuted in Tamil Cinema with the film ‘Kudaikul Mazhai’ opposite Parthiban in 2004. In that film, she had done the role of a TV anchor deceiving an auto driver. Deceived by her, Parthiban becomes mentally disordered (Schizophrenia) and his imagination was narrated as rest of the screenplay. Kollywood audience did not like that innovative way of narration of the story and hence the film became a big flop.

After ‘Kudaikul Mazhai’, she acted in ‘Amuthey’ and ‘Englishkaran’ in 2005. Though she performed well as second heroine in ‘Englishkaran’ her performance has gone unnoticed due to Namitha stealing everybody’s attention. The only benefit she earned through the film is she found her soul mate Shiv Balaji, a Tollywood actor who paired with her as second hero in the film and later became her husband. Madhumitha and Shiv Balaji entered into wedlock on March 1st in Hyderabad. After Englishkaran, she acted in ‘Naalai’ (2006), ‘Aanivaer’ (2007), ‘Arai En 305il Kadavul’ (2008). Her current projects in Tamil are ‘Yogi’, ‘Kadhal Meipada’, ‘Nalvaravu’ and ‘Solla Solla Inikkum’.

The latest news about Madhumitha is she is doing MBA through correspondence course. Now the MBA exams are going on and she has taken leave from her current projects and seriously studying for exams. She was asked whether she is going to say goodbye to films and pursue only education. She replied that “No, I have films in my hand. But education is equally important. If there are no offers for films, education will help to lead my life with dignity. I am more interested in administration. That’s why I am doing MBA” As an actress she has very short period to stay in limelight. Her decision to be proactive rather than reactive must be appreciated. Let’s wish her success in all her endeavours.
