After a long break Ramakrishna re-entered as “Neelambari” in Rajinkanth's blockbuster movie Padaiyappa. Entire Indian Cinema lovers impressed by her different kind of negative role act in Padaiyappa. Ramya has married Telugu director Krishna Vamsi and they have one child too.

Recently Ramya was getting lot of Aunty roles offers in Tamil.  Ramya Krishnan denied, when Sakthi Chidambaram gave aunty role of his recent super hit movie “Sandai”. Later Actress Nadhiya utilized that offer.
