In Indian cinema name does matter. Particularly actresses keep altering the name suppose particular name does not work out.

Shamna the sexy actress from Malayalam was acted in Pagadai - the Tamil movie that was dropped in half way. Later she was assigned as heroine for Kodaikanal.  As the Kodaikanal under production, Shamna got the heroine role in "Muniyandi - Vilangiyal moontram andu".  Super hit Tamil serial Metti Oli director Thiru murugan after his first super hit movie "Emtan Magan" announced this as second project.

Emtan Magan hero Bharath and comedian vadivelu would act lead roles. Thirumurugan changed heroine name from Shamna to Poorna for this movie. Poorna name does the matter. Shamna alias Poorna keep flooding with heroine roles in Tamil and Telugu and she has been happy of this name. Lets wish her to get more luck in future assignments.
