Robot - The highest expensive project of India going to make in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.  Earlier news was Director Shankar consider Deepika Padukone for this project because of Sharukhan's  “Om shanthi Om” success.


The Miss world 2004 Aishwarya rai first introduced in Tamil by director Maniratnam in his movie "Iruvar". Shankar's Jeans and Rajeev Menon's "Kandukonden Kandukonden” are another two movies she acted in Tamil.  Aishwarya rai was approached for pair of Rajinikanth, from his Chandramugi and Shivaji.  She was unable to accept both times as she was busy with Hindi and Hollywood movies.
