Padmapriya  is giving stunning performance in recently released "Mirugam". All media reviews and viewers are praised her that she was living as character in that movie.



Mirugam had been facing lot of problems from starting to release.Padmapriya complained that director Saamy was slapped and gave sexual torture... but later Tamil film association(s) investigated the issue and saamy was banned for one year.

When censoring at censor board, The Animal Welfare Board (AWB) has objected to a Jallikattu (Bull fight) scene in this movie and it was later deleted in order to get clearance certificate. After all the troubles are over and Mirugam has been released on 14 December and it got good response.  But there is no ladies crowd and to encourage women crowd producer screened free show.
