Sizzling Shriya is looking forward eagerly for her next release “Rowthiram”. The slim beauty is very upset with the recent gossips surrounding her. Shriya was very angry by the way she was portrayed in her last Tamil movie “Chikku Bukku”. After that she kept avoiding Tamil movies for a while. But she calmed down and accepted a role in the move “Rowthiram”.
The industry was abuzz with the news that she is playing a lead role in the Kamal Hassan flick “Viswaroopam”. Sources regarding her consent to act as the heroine in the movie “Saguni”, also swept the studios. But, the actress was offered neither of the opportunities. The audio launch of “Rowthiram” took place recently. The actress poured out her heart to numerous people in the function. Shriya was very disturbed by the rumors stating the actress herself was responsible for the rumors.
She denied any necessity of such publicity stunts. It is true to a certain extent. Shriya have always been declining such baseless news. She never gave any statements regarding acting in those projects. However, the actress is very happy about the way “Rowthiram” had turned out. The crew says she plays the role of an innocent, lovely girl in the film. Post “Ko” actor Jeeva’s market had been looking so promising. Since his earlier movies also fared well in the box office, Shriya hopes, this movie will give her a re-entry in Kollywood.

Shriya herself told the song sequences in the film had turned out beautifully. The crew flew to various parts of the world to shoot the songs. The positive reviews for the songs of the movie justify her claims. Shriya looks extra glamorous and cute in the stills and trailer of the movie. Let us see whether “Rowthiram” gives oxygen to Shriya, just like “Vengai” did to Tammanna.
