We all aware that notorious filmmaker K S Ravikumar is going to remake one of the biggest commercial hits of Tamil cinema, Saamy, in Hindi, which was originally directed by the director Hari in Tamil. K S Ravikumar has roped in Sanjay Dutt to play the lead role in the Hindi remake, which had Vikram donning the role in the original version. The original version also had Trisha doing the female lead role, and the role helped Trisha register her mark in Tamil cinema industry as a top actress. Now, it seems as if K S Ravikumar wants Trisha again to play the same role in the Hindi version too. However, Trisha seems to have politely turned down the offer!
While leading ladies down the south are dying to get a chance to feature in the Bollywood cinemas, it comes as a shock to know that Trisha has turned down such a good offer. However, there seems to be a valid reason behind Trisha’s decision to say no to the big Bollywood offer. The reason is nothing but her commitments that she has done previously in Tamil cinema industry.
According to the sources close to Trisha, she is currently starring in three yet to be released Tamil flicks. The movies are Vishal starrer, Samar, and Jiiva starrer Endrendum Punnagai and Boologam with Jayam Ravi. With all these big films in Tamil cinema industry occupying her dates this year, it looks as if it is practically impossible for the Mankatha girl to sign in on any other movie in any industry.
When contacted, Trisha admits that she has turned down K S Ravikumar’s offer to play the lead role in Hindi remake of Saami. She adds further that she has back to back shooting schedules for three movies in Tamil, which also would require her to travel to many places in the coming days.
