Director J Suresh has had two outings already in Tamil cinema industry. He directed actor Madhavan in the movie Ennavale and actor Mammooty in the movie Junior Senior. He has now come up with another movie in Tamil cinema industry Paraseega Mannan, which has hit the screens recently. The director has also taken up acting and has played the lead role of the movie himself Paraseega Mannan. Paraseega Mannan takes the social issue of child trafficking in hand and tries to find solution for the issue with the help of its lead role.
Here is the story of Paraseega Mannan. Mannar Mannan or King (J Suresh) is happy go lucky guy who shares no responsibility in his family. He is yet to find a job but finds a girl called Sruthy (Sruthy). Sruthy is the school teacher working in a school in which King’s sister’s son is studying. King is very fond of his sister’s son. However, one day his sister’s son is gone missing. Later, King’s family come to know that the kid has been kidnapped. Hence, King, on the insistence of his family members, begins his search of his sister’s son? Can he find the kid? What happens to Sruthy?
Ennavale and Junior Senior were the examples of how clumsy that J Suresh’s screenplay and direction can get. The director has again repeated the same mistake of coming up with an unstructured script, which could work no wonders on screen.
While screenplay is a big issue in Paraseega Mannan, the characterization is also a big disappointment. The main track, love track and even the comedy track fails to impress the movie watchers in any way. Especially, the love between the lead characters King and Sruthy has been written in a pathetic form.
Overall, Paraseega Mannan is not a worthy movie to give a watch!
Verdict: The King’s Rule is not impressive!
