Copied from Mouna Raagam?
Marupadiyum Oru Kadhal starring Aniruth and Joshna in the lead roles is a dramatic love story that brings the audiences the memory of the Mani Ratnam masterpiece, Mouna Raagam. It seems as if the director of Marupadiyum Oru Kadhal, Vasu Bhaskar, has borrowed the storyline of Mouna Raagam for his movie with a little tweak to it. We know how interesting the later part of the Mouna Raagam is, when it comes to the married life of Mohan and Revathy in the movie. However, Marupadiyum Oru Kadhal misses such things and ends up as a disappointing tale for the movie watchers.

Marupadiyum Oru Kadhal Screenplay half backed
It is time for the directors to grow as this millennium is the age of excellent technologies. A lot could be shared over the internet, and the movie watchers, watching Marupadiyum Oru Kadhal, would certainly wonder how the two lead roles fell in love with each other without letting the other know their identities. Moreover, screenplay too remains half-baked with unnecessary elements irritating the movie watchers often.
The director seems to have missed many details in the movie, which gives way for too many funny goofs. For an instance, the director shows that the lead roles chat through the Google chat, but Mahi says she has a Yahoo ID. In addition to such goofs, Vadivelu’s comedy does no good to the movie.
Overall, Marupadiyum Oru Kadhal is a movie full of mistakes and certainly gives no room for the beautiful romantic feel for the audiences.
