A week ago, the Naan Magan Alla actress had an interview for a leading daily. During the interview the actress had told the media that Tamil cinema industry respects only the male leading actors and the female lead stars are not taken into a big account always. She also added that Telugu cinema respects female leading actresses more than Tamil cinema industry. This comment of Kajal Aggarwal already made the Kollywood circle very angry.
Many veterans and costars of Kajal Aggarwal lashed out against her saying that she has no respect for the industry, which became a launch pad for her career in cinema industry. Even her guru, veteran director Bharathi Raja, who introduced Kajal Aggarwal in Tamil cinema industry through the movie Bommalattam, lashed her out calling her an arrogant person.
The veteran director, who is one of the much acclaimed filmmakers in Tamil cinema industry, told the media that he is not surprised to hear such derogatory comments from the actress Kajal Aggarwal. He further added that he does not want to speak about the issue any more, as Kajal is arrogant and never gives respect to others who deserve it. The director also stated that he is feeling very ashamed for he is the one who launched the actress into the Tamil cinema industry with the movie Bommalattam.
Kajal Aggarwal’s comments have stirred a hornet’s nest in Tamil cinema industry, which has even lead to the fans taking the issue against her. The actress, soon realizing the ire of the industry, came up with another comment, in which she told the media she did mean to hurt the sentiments of the Tamil cinema lovers and followers and she also added that she did want to do anything against the Tamil cinema industry. However, still the Kollywood circle is not cool with the actress!
