Actress Thulasi Nair, the younger daughter of yesteryear actress Radha and younger sister of Ko fame actress Karthika, is debuting with director Mani Ratnam’s upcoming flick Kadal. The movie is about to release in a short time and the new actress has been paired along with another debut actor Gautham Karthick.
Gautham Karthick is the son of veteran actor Karthick. The cast is quite fresh, but the director is known as the best contemporary director in the country. So did Thulasi Nair feel the heat of her nerves when facing the camera?
No says the fifteen year old actress, Thulasi, who is yet to finish her tenth standard. Thulasi says that she did not have any butterflies flying in her stomach while facing the camera for the first time. She adds that she felt that the camera in front of her was just an object before which she had to perform just the way the director wants her to be.
When asked how it was working with the ace director Mani Rathnam, she says that Mani Rathnam helped her a lot during the entire course of the shooting for the movie. She adds that it was Mani Rathnam who revealed the character of the movie lying hidden within her. She further states that she did not have any reason to fear and since acting was in her genes, she made it so easy when she had to perform.
For your information, Thulasi Nair has bagged the second opportunity of her career. She is going to play the lead role opposite actor Jiiva, which is going to be directed by acclaimed cinematographer Ravi K Chandran.
