TamannahWe already know very well that director N Lingusamy’s latest flick Vettai starring R Madhavan and Arya is being remade in Telugu. Naga Chaitanya and Sunil are reprising the roles of R Madhavan and Arya in the Telugu version of the movie. Initially, Andrea Jeremiah and Hansika Motwani were supposed to do the female lead roles in the movie, reprising the roles of Amala Paul and Sameera Reddy. However, now, it seems as if there is a twist in the casting of the movie.

Sources close to the movie unit in Telugu industry reveal that the director and the producer of the movie have decided to replace Hansika with Tamannaah for the lead role. Now, it seems as if the pretty Tamannaah may romance Naga Chaitanya onscreen instead of ‘Bubbly girl’ Hansika. However, Andrea Jeremiah still remains in the movie. For your information, this is the debut flick for Andrea in Telugu industry.
Sources reveal that the reason for the sudden change in the casting of the movie is that, the pair of Naga Chaitanya and Tamannaah has already worked big time in the Telugu movie industry. Earlier, both Tamannaah and Naga Chaitanya have played the lead roles together in 100% Love, which became a big hit, in addition to garnering reputation for the charm created onscreen by Tamannaah and Naga Chaitanya. Hence, it seems as if the producers of the new project have decided to rope in Tamannaah instead of Hansika, who has some date issues because of previous commitments.
Tamannaah’s father Bhatia, who manages her negotiations and commitments, was available for a comment and he confirmed the news. He said that his daughter has just signed the project recently. He also added that the shooting of the movie would start by the month of October and his daughter would join the shooting as soon as it begins.
It is sure that watching both Tamannaah and Andrea onscreen would be a great pleasure for the Telugu movie watchers!
