In a recent film, actress Anjali has enacted the role of a real character called Lourde Mary. The film is titled “Thambi Vettothi Sundaram”. While speaking to the media the actress said that when the director of this film Vadivudayan narrated the story to her she immediately accepted the same without any second thoughts. The director also made her realise that the character she will portray in this film is a real character and is still living. The actress was very keen to meet that person Lourde Mary.
However, the director had requested her not to meet her now and has also taught her all the mannerisms of Lourde Mary to her. This also includes the way she speaks. The actress put in all her efforts and grasped the directors’ instructions and did it exactly in the same as it was taught to her.
Actress Anjali is of the opinion that it would be very easy to act in ordinary roles but in this case she had to take a lot of efforts to bring out the true emotions that can match a living character. This was the most challenging assignment for her so far. She has spoken Tamil with some Malayalam words in this film. She also confesses that she was scared to act with Karan as he was a much senior actor than what she was. However, she expresses that Karan was so friendly to work with and his approach was very simple. Like Angaadi Theru, the actress expresses a lot from this film and is confident that it would give her a good name in the industry.
