Andrea Jeremiah, the much talented actor, songwriter and playback singer, is yet to find a place for her in the cinema industry in terms of commercial acting. However, with her limited showbiz in Tamil cinema industry, she has managed to showcase her talents and skills. Her biggest project in her life till date is the yet to be released megaphone, Vishwaroopam, being wielded by the Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan. However, the latest buzz about the actress is that she is going to debut in the Telugu cinema industry with the Telugu remake of the Arya – Madhavan starrer ‘Vettai’.
Some sources from the Tollywood industry claim that the remake movie will have Naga Chaitanya and Sunil playing the roles of Arya and Madhavan. The female leading role played by Sameera Reddy would be played by Andrea Jeremiah it seems. The role played by Amala Paul is going to be played by the bubbly beauty Hansika Motwani, if the sources are to be believed.
While this news about Andrea’s debut is becoming a big buzz in both Tamil and Telugu industries, another source reveals a different story. The source says that the makers of the Telugu remake of Vettai earlier wanted a girl called Aksha to reprise the role played by Sameera Reddy in the original. However, as things did not fall in place, Andrea was given the opportunity later. The source also adds that Bellamkonda Suresh, the producer of Telugu edition of Vettai, is still not sure whether to rope in Andrea into the movie. The source further adds that even Hansika’s inclusion is unsure, as she is getting busy with her current commitments.
Industry insiders say that the storyline and the screenplay of Vettai will fit perfectly to the Telugu audiences, as the movie has all the elements like brothers’ sentiment, action and romance. They believe that if Andrea gets a chance really, it would surely take her career to the next level, as the banner and the casting for the movie are impressive!
