Here is again a big buzz involving Ilayathalapathy actor Vijay, who is already basking in the success of his recent Diwali release Thuppakki. Thuppakki has become the talk of the town now, as the movie is being appreciated by both the audiences and the cinema reviewers. Soon after the Thuppakki’s release, Ilayathalapathy has started working on his project, which is being directed by director A L Vijay of Deivathirumagal and Thaandavam fame. While this is old news to many, the latest buzz regarding Vijay’s future project is that he is set to join hands with director K V Anand!
Director K V Anand is gaining a good reputation in Tamil cinema industry with his movies such as Ayan, Ko and Maattraan getting good response and good box office collection. The sources close to the director say that he is getting ready with another script after his Maattraan. It seems as if the director is interested in casting actor Vijay as the lead actor for this project. The interesting news is that he has already been in talks with Ilayathalapathy reading the project. After listening to the outline of the script, it seems the Thuppakki star too has given him a green signal and has signed on the dotted lines!
The sources further say that while writing duo SuBa had been with director K V Anand for his earlier projects, it now seems the director has opted for a change in choosing the partner for the scriptwriting. According to sources, it is now famous writer Pattukottai Prabhakar who is going to do the script work along with director K V Anand. Since Vijay is already on board for the untitled A L Vijay’s flick, K V Anand would be working on the script and honing the characters until Vijay frees himself from the current project. It seems, after A L Vijay’s project, the K V Anand flick would go on floors!
